This Privacy Policy for California Residents (“Policy”) supplements the information contained in the Privacy Policy of Angry Owl Technology Group, LLC (“Company”, “us”, and “we”). This policy describes how we (Angry Owl Technology Group, LLC), use and share information from and about users of its website https://youprobablyneedahaircut.com (the “Site“, “Website“). This notice is adopted to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

1.5     Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We may use your Personal Information for the purposes set forth below.  We may use and disclose Other Information for any purpose; provided that if such Other Information is considered Personal Information under applicable law or if we combine Other Information with your Personal Information, we will treat such information as Personal Information.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA.

6. Exercising Your Rights Under this Policy

6.1 Verified Consumer Request

You may exercise your rights under this policy by submitting a request to andrew [at] youprobablyneedhaircut.com. If your request does not contain sufficient information to verify your identity, we will not comply with your request. You may make a request pursuant to this policy no more than twice within a twelve (12) month period.

6.2 Response Time

Within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request from you, we will disclose and deliver the information to you, free of charge. If we cannot comply with your request within 45 days, we will notify you of an extension of up to 45 additional days. If you maintain an account with us, we will deliver the information through your account. If you do not maintain an account with us, we will deliver the information electronically or by mail, at your option. We will not require you to make an account with us in order to make a verifiable consumer request.

7. Updates to Privacy Policy

This Policy is effective as of the Effective Date set forth above. We have the right to change or update this Policy at our discretion and without notice to you.  This Policy is subject to occasional revision and, if we make any material changes, we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on our Site indicating we have updated this Policy.  Continued use of our Site following these changes means you acknowledge you have read and accept the revised Policy.
