Who We Are

You Probably Need a Haircut launched in April of 2020 to give hairstylists a way to make money during the COVID-19 lockdown. It turns out we were onto something. Our site went viral and was featured in publications like Today, Engadget, The Verge, The Washington Post, and many more.

While virtual haircuts are great during a pandemic, life began returning to normal, so we had to pivot. But we didn’t stray too far from what we know; we still connect people needing haircuts with salons and stylists in their area.

We not only made a comprehensive database of hair salons, independent stylists, and barber shops, but also created a host of style, trend, and cost guides to help you make an informed decision about your next haircut.

With that said, welcome to our site! We hope that by using our database, you’ll never again have trouble finding a hair salon or stylist near you.
