About Andrew

Andrew Helling is the founder and editor-in-chief of You Probably Need a Haircut. Long story short, he thought there was too much bad content online and sought to build better sites to help educate the casual consumer.

In 2020, the opportunity arose to acquire this site and Andrew jumped at it, taking the simple site and expanding it by making first-class haircare and styling guides and tools to help make your life a little easier when figuring out what haircut and products to get.

While Andrew outsources much of the day-to-day responsibilities to his team of hair experts, he does spend a great deal of time ensuring the site is the best it can be.

When he's not in the office, you'll find him flying, biking, and traveling with his wife, son, and two dogs Nelson and Teddy. While he thinks that any beach vacation is hard to beat, he also loves being outdoors in the fresh air of the mountains.
